Genesis is proud to have been selected for Fit 4 Offshore Renewables (F4OR), a rigorous 12-18 month programme delivered by the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult, designed to support companies effectively break into the offshore renewables industry.
The first national F4OR programme is funded by the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP), Energy Transition Zone (ETZ), with additional support from the Nuclear AMRC and business consultancy Opergy.
F4OR is a unique service that aims to help the UK supply chain prepare to bid for work in the offshore renewable sector. The programme is a key component of the offshore wind industry in achieving its sector deal target of 60% lifetime UK content in UK offshore wind projects.
Genesis joins over 15 companies in a range of industries based in the north-east Scotland, bringing the total number of Scottish-based companies supported by the Catapult’s programme to 49. This demonstrates ORE’s overall ambition to place Scotland as a global leader in the energy transition and support the Scottish Government’s net zero targets.
Senior Vice President, Christophe Malaurie said: “By being selected to the programme, Genesis has demonstrated relevant capability, experience and determination to meet the required standards and effectively support the offshore renewables market in the north-east Scotland. We are very committed to supporting the UK’s investment in a sustainable future as trusted advisors.”
